Boy Mom's & Bathroom Woes

Boy parents....you're welcome!

I have 2 boys, the oldest one is potty trained. It does not matter how often I clean their bathroom, it ALWAYS smells like pee. If you do not have boys, just be thankful for your non-pee smelling bathroom.

My husband and I would try everything to make the bathroom (which also happens to be our guest bathroom) smell decent before company came over. Nothing worked. Literally, nothing worked. My only option was to mask the smell with a strong smelling candle. Until I found this lovely trick!

Generic Shaving Cream. Cover the tile with generic shaving cream. You will want to make sure you follow the grout lines throughout the entire toilet area. Use a sturdy scrub brush and scrub away! Wipe off with a warm wet towel. For extra freshness, we mop with Pine-sol right after.

This is a game changer for a family with boys!
