Turkey Spinach Meatballs
Ingredients:
-
1 Egg
-
3 oz Spinach (or a handfull)

1 small white onion
-
1T minced garlic
-
2 lbs of Ground Turkey
-
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella
-
1/3 cup Shredded Parmesan Reggiano
-
1/2 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
-
1 Jar Marinara (I use Bertolli Marinara)

Directions:
*Pre-heat oven to Broil. Line baking sheet with Foil & spray with cooking spray*

In large bowl, beat egg. Add Garlic, spinach, onion and mix together.

Add Turkey, cheeses, and breadcrumbs. Mix together with your hands.

Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on the baking sheet.

Broil for 10 Minutes. While the meatballs are in the oven, heat the sauce in a large skillet.

Add meatballs to skillet and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes to finish cooking.
