Turkey Spinach Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg

  • 3 oz Spinach (or a handfull)

  • 1 small white onion

  • 1T minced garlic

  • 2 lbs of Ground Turkey

  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella

  • 1/3 cup Shredded Parmesan Reggiano

  • 1/2 cup Italian Breadcrumbs

  • 1 Jar Marinara (I use Bertolli Marinara)

Turkey Spinach Meatballs

Directions:

​*Pre-heat oven to Broil. Line baking sheet with Foil & spray with cooking spray*

  1. In large bowl, beat egg. Add Garlic, spinach, onion and mix together.

  2. Add Turkey, cheeses, and breadcrumbs. Mix together with your hands. 

  3. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on the baking sheet. 

  4. Broil for 10 Minutes. While the meatballs are in the oven, heat the sauce in a large skillet. 

  5. Add meatballs to skillet and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes to finish cooking.
